‘Protagonist’ is about a painting becoming a self portrait.
There is one face that is looking up at a dark corner whilst absorbed in self expression.
There is another portrait that is composed whilst facing the on looking world.
His private safe zone of the green chair has inadvertently become his stage.
He has a penis for private use, and one for public display (but they both look the same to most people).
He is surprised to find that he is left sneering at the world, but looking back for its reaction. (I am an artist and demand a right to self expression)
